Cameroon won the African Cup of Nations 2017



The Indomitable Lions are champions again fifteen years after its last title.
Cameroon came from behind to beat Egypt 2-1 in the 31st edition of the Africa Cup of Nationsin a thrilling, edgy final. At National Stadium in Libreville, Gabon.

Mohamed El Neny opened the scoring in the 22nd minute for Egypt,
Nicolas Nkoulou, equalised for Cameroon in the 59th minute, rising highest to power home a header on the hour mark.
In the 88th minute, substitute striker Aboubakar struck Cameroon the winner with an incredible piece of individual skill. Aboubakar's winning goal for the Indomitable Lions will go down as one of the finest in Africa Cup of Nations Final's history.

Underdogs Cameroon had already upset the odds to reach the final and stunned the much-fancied Egyptians with the late dramatic winner from Aboubaker.


The Cameroon's national team deserves all the credit its getting, no big egos in the team but humble guys who decided to come together and fight for the pride of their country, well done Cameroon Congratulations for the fifth CAF Africa Cup of Nations title.
