Marc was pushing very hard in lead which made him lose his contact and slipped out on turn 2 in 22nd lap and finished the race early, a horrendous disaster for the Spanish pole position starter. Espargaro later crashed out of line and took Dovizioso along, dismissal of both the riders. Then it was Dani Pedrosa who slides out at same turn where Marc did and it was a bad day for Repsol Honda team. The battle for second was most eye catching part of the 2017 Argentina race. With Cal having a good grip on second
position and Rossi poised right behind him. Later calm and concentrated Valentino Rossi made a move at turn 5 and successfully won the Second position on podium with Cal 3rd and Maverick Viñales grabbing another 25 points as a race leader in MotoGP championship.
