A tactical masterstroke from Honda helped Marc Marquez to a dominant victory in the MotoGP Czech Republic Grand Prix.
With the race declared wet but the track quickly drying at the start, Marquez was brought into the pits early to put on a softer tyre compound, and he was able to make massive gains on the rest of the field. Eventually he finished 12 seconds clear of team-mate Dani Pedrosa in second place with his 150th podium, with Yamaha's Maverick Vinales taking third.

struggling on the softer tyre and taking the gamble early.
Rossi was hunting down Lorenzo as the track was drying and drying, before the ‘Spartan’ headed in – as did many of the front group. Meanwhile, Marquez was on a charge setting red sector after red sector back out on slicks, and it appeared he’d played his hand to perfection at the 2017 grand prix české republiky in Brno.
In the Moto GP points table Marc Marquez lead with 154, points over,
Maverick Viñales, with 140, points, third is Andrea Dovizioso with 133, points. the fourth is Valentino Rossi with 132, points. And fifth is Dani Pedrosa with 123, points.
